If you choose not to opt in to this service, your ATM and CheckCard transactions will be declined if your purchase amount exceeds your available balance. ** Bounce Protection Plus allows you to pay only one cent (1¢) per overdraft item provided you either: correct the overdraft before 8 p.m. (CT) or your overdraft did not take your end-of-day account balance into the negative by more than $10; otherwise the overdraft fee of $25 will apply for each overdraft item. Bounce Protection Plus covers overdrafts that may occur when payments are made via CheckCard or ATM withdrawal and not enough funds are available to cover a transaction. Once an overdraft has occurred, you are obligated to bring your account to a positive balance within 30 days. Whether your overdrafts will be paid is discretionary, and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdraft(s) if your account is not in good standing, which includes any negative balance or past due loans over 30 days, if you are not making regular deposits or if you have too many overdrafts.
