You found the vehicle that you want to buy, but
do you know the vehicle's history? Don't buy a
used car or truck without researching the vehi-
cle's unique Vehicle Identifi cation Number (VIN).
VHRs can expose several facts about vehicles
that can substantially lower values and seriously
compromise vehicle safety, including fl ood dam-
age, salvaged vehicles (vehicles declared total
losses by insurers, subsequently repaired and then
issued salvaged vehicle titles), vehicles that have
