s &OOTWEAR )NSIGHT ^ 3EPTEMBER/CTOBER FOOTWEARINSIGHTCOM Park Service America's National Parks are hot right now. The wild spaces themselves (the system comprises more than 400 parks, monuments and trails) are the inspiration behind styles and collections from a variety of brands. Farm to Feet has a six-sock collection celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 1175-mile, NC-based Mountains-to-Sea Trail. The brand also recently released a limited-edition Bears Ears sock (seen here). LINESWELIKE Chaco's National Parks Foundation collection includes the Z/1 Yosemite Sunset sandal. Pendleton just launched footwear with a collection of women's short and tall boots with styles that use the Pendleton brand's historic National Park patterns as a key part of the mix. Brooks' REI-exclusive National Parks editions of its Cascadia trail running shoe see the brand donating 5 percent of the wholesale cost of each of the five Cascadia colorways (and the associated tees), up to $50,000, to the National Parks Foundation.
