Starting this spring, Naot will introduce Source by Naot, a line of outdoor performance sandals that incorporates the design and technology of Source, a 30-year-old Israeli brand known for its footwear and hydration products. Source (Shoresh in Hebrew) was founded in 1989 by Yoki Gill and Daniel Benoziliyo and now employs more than 200 workers. The company has been known for its innovation in hydration and sandal technology as well as its Tactical Gear, hiking sandals, hydration and travel accessories. The company sells in more than 25 countries, including, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, and South Africa. "The sandal line is extremely popular in Israel and we are excited to bring the brand to the American market with a collection of high quality footwear," says Steve Lax, president of Naot. MEN'S WEAR WAYS 349,% Rockport interprets the menswear trend for women with a range of silhouettes including the Total Motion Abelle Wingtip in a color the brand describes as Dove. The shoe is a cleaned-up derby style with pearlized patent touches. Technical details include shock-absorbing truTECH and energy-rebounding truTECH+.
