KentuckyOne Health 200 Abraham Flexner Way Louisville, KY 40202 This publication in no way seeks to serve as a substitute for professional medical care. Consult your doctor before undertaking any form of medical treatment or adopting any exercise program or dietary guidelines. NONPROFIT ORG. U.S. POSTAGE PAID CATHOLIC HEALTH INITIATIVES I want to tell you how valuable and life-changing the Healthy Lifestyle Center is to me. I especially want to commend you for staffi ng the Center with such qualifi ed, dedicated, caring people. They are amazing and put me at ease immediately because I could see they were not only extremely qualifi ed and professional, but anyone can see how much they really care about helping us. I have a complicated health picture. I could not walk in and out of the clinic unassisted. I had no stamina. I was losing hope. Because of the care of all these individuals, I have been able to improve to doing 2 to 2 1/5 miles on the NuStep. I can walk by myself. I have been able to reduce my insulin shots and my blood pressure medicine signifi cantly. I have hope that I can do much better and I now have a regular exercise plan. I want to especially point out what an immense help the registered dietitian in the Healthy Lifestyle Center has been to me. She is beyond knowledgeable. Because of how well she has shared that knowledge, I have made many, many health changes to my diet … and also my husband's diet! Thank you for providing such an amazing staff. I feel so much better already, both emotionally and physically. They are all responsible for so many people doing great on that program. They're inspiring!" It has been my great good fortune to hold forth on this planet for some three quarters of a century, interacting with people from nearly every background imaginable. In all those years, I have never encountered a more dedicated and professional team than the one I was privileged to have by my side at the Rudd Heart and Lung Center at Jewish Hospital. Mere words fail me in my feeble attempt to express my thanks and admiration to the folks who shepherded me through the worst six days of my life. Thank you all again, more than you can know!"
