Operation Walk is a private, not-for-profit, volunteer medical services organization, founded in 1994, which provides free surgical treatment for patients primarily living in developing countries as well as the local Syracuse community. The core of our mission is to provide these free surgical treatments to those who have no access to life-improving care for arthritis or other debilitating bone and joint conditions. In November 2012, Operation Walk Syracuse will undertake its second mission abroad to Panama. In cooperation with the Panama Ministry of Health, orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operative teams will travel for an 8-day mission to complete 75-100 total-joint replacements. We need your help to complete our mission.
