Welcome to the December/January issue of MD News. As we close out 2017 and look forward to 2018, it is common to examine our areas of success and identify areas for improvement by asking questions like, "Did we achieve our goals?", "Did we make a difference?" and "How can we make a greater impact?" At MD News, we are excited about the changes we made going into 2018. First, we will be changing to a bimonthly publication publishing six issues a year, which allows us to incorporate more valuable information into each issue and increase our focus on social media and sharing the content we publish. We are also growing our Partner Program with hospitals and clinics to bring our readers more educational stories about the great work being accomplished in our healthcare community. In this issue, we feature the Cartilage Restoration and Joint Preservation Program at University of Minnesota Health and focus on their efforts to preserve and improve joint health, allowing patients to live more active lives.
