The OrderMyGear platform streamlines the merchandising, ordering and fulfillment of team gear and group apparel by providing online stores and tools for dealers, decora- tors and anyone selling to teams, leagues and corporations. In 2017, OrderMyGear facilitated nearly $200 million worth of commerce, representing more than 100,000 individual group stores and more than 2000 team dealers, decorators and athletic organizations. As part of the transaction, Ben Weinberg and Aaron Flack will join the OrderMyGear board of directors. Game Makes Upgrades Game has made a number of changes in 2018, including naming Andrea Cancellieri president of 42-year-old family-run business that ushers in a new generation of leadership and growth. In addi- tion, Enzo Cancellieri, Andrea's husband, has taken on the role of executive VP– operations. Game has also moved all pro- duction to its headquarters in Yorktown Heights, NY, for improved communication and effi- ciency. In addition, its Design and Embellishment Department has added heat transfer and screen- printing to its chenille, embroidery, tackle twill and custom design services. Finally, a new Large Bid Support Department (500-plus pieces) will help with custom orders, sourcing, and guiding cus- tomers through the governmental bid process. A4 Expands To Kansas City A4 has opened a 175,000-square- foot warehouse in Kansas City, MO, its largest and most technologi- cally advanced facility designed to shorten shipping times to the Central and Eastern parts of the country The site already holds A4's most popular styles and will soon hold the entire A4 line. Combined with its current locations, A4 now has the ability to reach 80 percent of the U.S. population with one- or two-day shipping. Dick's A.D. Starr Partners With Little League A.D. Starr, the bulk baseball and softball equipment busi- ness of Dick's Sporting Goods and Dick's Team Sports HQ, has been named the Official Ball Supplier of the Little League World Series, effective this season. Additionally, A.D. Starr will serve as the Official Ball for the Little League World Series in all seven divisions of baseball and softball and is the recommended ball for tourna- ments at all levels of play. Augusta Unveils Unified Catalog Augusta Sportswear has released its first comprehensive Fall/ Winter 2018 catalog that contains all three of its brands: Augusta Sportswear, Holloway and High Five. The company's "Power of One" initiative was launched in 2017 and combines all three brands onto one website, as well as into one catalog. With more than 50 new styles in this catalog, the combined brands will have launched over 120 items in just the last six months. Teamwork Launches Website Teamwork Athletic Apparel recently launched a website and its new ProSphere Fan Shop. This new website offers dealers access to fan gear that can be completely customized and allows them to create personalized team stores. The store is set up at no cost, the products are ready to order and the Teamwork dealer that man- aged the order is automatically assigned to the team store. Teamwork also recently hired Jeff James as national sales direc- tor. James' primary focus will be developing Teamwork's first ever national sales force. 3N2 Signs Aaron Nola Philadelphia Phillies' pitcher Aaron Nola recently signed an endorsement deal with 3N2. Nola will wear 3N2 apparel and foot- wear in MLB games and practices, including custom game cleats inspired by the Philadelphia sky- line. He will also actively market the 3N2 brand via social media. MyHouse To Sponsor WPIAL The Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) has added MyHouse Sports Gear as its newest spon- sor, naming the brand as the "Official Wrestling Apparel of the WPIAL." MyHouse has a similar relationships with the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association and the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference. Wilson Extends With NCAA Wilson Sporting Goods has extended its partnership with the NCAA for basketball through the 2020-21 season with an additional two-year option. Wilson will con- tinue to supply teams competing in the association's Divisions I, II and III Men's and Women's Basketball Championships with the official NCAA Solution Game Basketball. Wilson has provided the official basketball of the NCAA since 2002. Wilson and the NCAA currently collaborate across five sports — basketball, soccer, beach volleyball, football and tennis. Cutters Unveils New Logo Cutters recently unveiled a new brand logo and tagline, "Grip The Greatness," which coincides with its transition to an all-football brand identity. The fast, flashy look is on its new line of gloves launching this spring and it is also reflected on the Cutters website and social media channels. The new Cutters logo is meant to highlight the brand's strength within football. The Cutters green is livelier, the "C" is bolder and the font has a sharpness that cuts through empty space. The "Grip The Greatness" tagline highlights the gloves' key performance ben- efit with an inspirational call to action. Both the logo and the tag- line are designed to better identify with football, where the brand began when Jeff Beraznik founded it in 1997. Q END ZONE / NEWS Axe Bat Enlists Ali Aguilar Axe Bat is collaborating with pro softball player Ali Aguilar to develop its next generation of fast- pitch bats for youth, high school and college players. Aguilar, a member of the U.S. Women's National Team, had an All-American career at the University of Washington before being selected 13th overall by the Scrap Yard Dawgs in last year's National Pro Fastpitch college draft. Epoch Turns White Epoch Lacrosse, a U.S. design and technology company that specializes in lacrosse, has released its Purpose women's col- lection in a custom white color. The gear set comes with a premier head, shaft and pocket, featuring Epoch's 15-degree bottom rail technology that puts the ball as high as possible in the sweet spot of the pocket. The set also fea- tures the Dragonfly shaft. The Epoch Purpose Head is $140 MSRP strung and $110 MSRP unstrung. A Line We Like...
