MD NE WS would like to congratulate Gerald "Jerry" Hoffman, winner of the
Amelia Greiner Lifetime Achievement Award. Hoffman received the award for
his advocacy efforts, which have shaped healthcare delivery in the community
for several decades. Hoffman was executive vice president of the Onondaga
County Medical Society for more than 30 years before retiring in 2014.
After a speech that touched on Hoffman's accomplishments and years of service,
Hoffman was presented with the award by his longtime friend, former colleague
and State Senator Tarky Lombardi Jr.
Hoffman serves as an Executive Consultant to our magazine and we are very
proud to know and work with him.
