LIFE CREDIT UNION IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE RECIPIENT OF THE INAUGURAL DEBBIE JONES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. CONGRATULATIONS TO WILL RYAN, son of William and Kristie Ryan and a graduating senior from Brentwood High School. He will be attending the University of Tennessee in the fall, majoring in Vocal Performance/Music Business. Will recently performed in a production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific. An awards reception was recently held to celebrate Will and honor the legacy of Debbie Jones. Life CU CEO Pam Tenpenny awarded the scholarship, and COO Benita Harp offered a blessing on Will's upcoming academic endeavors. Debbie Jones' family was present to witness and celebrate the awarding of the scholarship. This scholarship was established to honor Debbie Jones, who was a visionary board member, a faithful supporter and long-time member of Life Credit Union. Debbie exemplified the true credit union spirit of "people helping people," and we are honored to continue her commitment with this scholarship in her name. Scholarship Awarded The Debbie Jones Memorial Scholarship will be a continuing annual scholarship awarded to a deserving high school senior with plans to pursue higher education.
