with locations in Kingston (166 Albany Ave.), Rhinebeck (at Northern Dutchess Hospital), Poughkeepsie
(19 Baker Ave.) and Fishkill (Vassar Brothers Medical Mall).
Our HQMP Kingston and Rhinebeck group delivers babies at Northern Dutchess Hospital and
uniquely offers 24/7 midwifery coverage, while our Poughkeepsie and Fishkill group delivers babies at
Vassar Brothers Medical Center and includes three physicians certified in the da Vinci® Surgical System.
Located onsite at VBMC, our maternal fetal medicine specialist is an easy and accessible referral for
women with higher-risk pregnancies.

TASTE OF Summer RECIPE
This tasty smoothie from Roufia Payman, DT, CDN, Supervisor of Outpatient Nutritional
Education for Northern Dutchess Hospital, can be made with a variety of seasonal fruits,
such as strawberries, blueberries or melons. Flaxseed or chia seed contributes omega-3 fatty
acids, important for lowering triglycerides and building heart health.
INGREDIENTS
NUTRITION PER SERVING
¾ cup skim or 1% milk
½ cup low-fat Greek yogurt
½ cup fresh or frozen fruit
1 Tablespoon local honey or organic agave nectar
1 Tablespoon flaxseed or chia seed
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients in blender and enjoy.
