15 GROWING OLD GRACEFULLY Whenever possible, try shopping local for fresh produce. Here's a short list to get you started: } THEIS FARM MARKET, 6N953 County Line Road, Maple Park, always carries fresh eggs, homegrown popcorn, syrups, and jams. } YAEGER'S FARM MARKET, 14643 State Rte. 38 in DeKalb, features fresh produce, locally sourced honey, maple syrup, and eggs. } MONTALBANO FARMS, 17551 Frazier Road in Sandwich—a small, diversified farm that produces an amazing variety of fresh, locally grown organic produce— is a part of the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Rather than simply purchasing food, community members become members of the CSA farm and collect their share of produce every week. You Are What You Eat TO ENJOY THE YEARS AHEAD, FILL YOUR PLATE WITH FOODS THAT SUPPORT A HEALTHY BODY AND ACTIVE BRAIN. Food quality matters, so buy fresh fruits and vegetables whenever possible, and round out meals with low-fat dairy, lean proteins, and whole grains.
