WINTER 2013-14 Community calendar for Cartersville Medical Center Project Hope: Painting Workshop Schedule: Meets the first Wednesday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon in the Hope Center Conference Room, Suite 102. » January 8, February 5, March 5 For cancer patients and survivors, this workshop is designed to promote expression of feelings through art. Participants will experience the creative process, self-expression and self-healing by painting on canvas. (All paint is nontoxic.) Participants will complete a 12x18-inch painting during this workshop. The program is free, and local artist Nancy Allen leads the classes. Look Good...Feel Better® Session Schedule: Meets on the second Monday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon in the Hope Center Conference Room, Suite 102. » January 13, February 10, March 10 A collaboration between the American Cancer Society, the Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association Foundation, and the National Cosmetology Association, Look Good…Feel Better teaches women how to deal with the appearancerelated side effects of cancer treatment on skin and hair. Programs are free and nonmedical. When you look good, you do feel better! Registration is required, and class size is limited to 12 people.
