Affectionately known to her patients as Dr. Sky, this San Antonio native has a passion for pediatrics and a flair for goofy voices, turning exams into games, and play that helps her connect with her young patients. "It takes a special kind of person to be able to calm down a child, explain what you are doing and why, and give parents the confidence they need to take care of their child," Dr. Sky says. "That's my job. It's about reaching out to the child and connecting and sharing the right information with families." As parents of a three-year-old girl, Dr. Sky and her husband can empathize with the concerned couples on the other side of the exam table. "Being a pediatrician and a parent, I know what it feels like to have a sick child," Dr. Sky says. "All you want is for your child to feel better, fully recover, and stay healthy. My experience helps me feel close to my patients and makes me better at providing them the best care possible." PART OF A WINNING TEAM Dr. Sky joined the team at the Children's Hospital of San Antonio Physician Group in April of 2013. Her practice is located at the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa – Westover Hills campus.
