Through the annual Buttery Ceremony Fundraiser, residents of Breckenridge, Wahpeton, and the surrounding communities can make a donation to the Foundation to help fund landscaping projects. In return, community members receive a buttery lawn ornament to place in the courtyard at CHI St. Francis Home in memory of a loved one. Symbols of rebirth and new beginnings, the butteries remained in place this year through the month of June. CHI St. Francis Health also held a remembrance ceremony for participating families. A Lasting Legacy In recent years, CHI St. Francis Health has used proceeds from the Buttery Ceremony Fundraiser to purchase more than 50 trees, benches, owers and all-weather owerpots, sprinkler systems, and a new screened-in gazebo for the large courtyard. The 2015 Buttery Ceremony Fundraiser will fund general landscaping and beautication projects taking place on the CHI St. Francis Health campus, including the new Veterans Park. A new gazebo provides a space for residents, families and visitors of St. Francis Home to enjoy the outdoors. The recent Buttery Ceremony Fundraiser, hosted by the CHI St. Francis Foundation, gave community members an opportunity to help beautify our campus and honor a loved one. Buttery Beautication Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Housed within the Riverwalk courtyard on the campus of CHI St. Francis Health, the gazebo is easily accessible to all. It is screened, allowing people to enjoy a quiet morning, sunny afternoon, or peaceful evening free from bugs. The gazebo is just one of the many ways your donations to the CHI Healthcare and Wellness Foundation at CHI St. Francis Health work to enhance our residents' qualityof life.
