C HI St. Joseph's Health Physical Rehabilitation and Fitness Center is now offering complimentary pediatric occupational therapy screenings for children up to age 12 who are having challenges in three or more of the following areas: Acting overly sensitive to movement, touch, or sounds Balancing Bathing, dressing, or using the toilet Being a picky eater Handling utensils Having frequent tantrums Poor posture Learning new games or activities Opening or closing containers JESSE NEASE, DDS BONNIE CONNER, FNP CHI St. Joseph's Health recently expanded our medical team, welcoming two new providers to the area. New Faces at CHI St. Joseph's Health I n November, Jesse Nease, DDS, joined CHI St. Joseph's Health Community Dental Clinic. Prior to joining the clinic, Dr. Nease worked two years with Apple Tree Dental in Fergus Falls. His background includes earning an undergraduate degree and dental training from the University of Minnesota. Bonnie Conner, FNP, Hospitalist, joined the CHI St. Joseph's Health team in December. Conner plays a critical role in providing hospital inpatients with timely care. In her hospitalist role, she works on- site with patients from 6 pm to 6 am and helps provide care in the emergency room as needed. Conner has a rich history of delivering high quality patient care in diverse settings that include a critical access hospital, emergency rooms, and long-term and urgent care facilities. These two providers represent the ongoing commitment CHI St. Joseph's Health has to growing the availability of care for those we serve. "We provide free pediatric occupational therapy screenings the second Tuesday of each month," says Deanne Kivi, OTR/L, BCP, CHI St. Joseph's Health Occupational Therapist. "This simple screening can help determine if occupational therapy could have a positive impact on your child's learning and developmental skills.
