Taking Care of Your Dental Health "Issues like heart disease and diabetes are now being linked to dental health," says Melissa Fogarty, RDH, CHI St. Joseph's Health Community Dental Clinic Manager. "We're trying to help prevent emergency visits by educating our community on the importance of regular checkups." The Community Dental Clinic, a not-for-profit agency, sees members of the community who have Veterans Administration- or state-provided insurance with dental coverage, Medical Assistance, or who qualify for reduced- rate dental care. The Community Dental Clinic provides comprehensive and long-term dental services.
