SKIN CANCER SCREENING

A skin cancer screening is a noninvasive exam that is
quick but vitally important. When detected early, skin cancer
has a cure rate of 99 percent.
PROSTATE AND COLON CANCER SCREENING
Wednesday, June 15, 2016, 6 p.m.

This screening is for men 40 years and older who have
not been screened for prostate cancer in the past. The
screening will consist of a blood draw for your PSA level
as well as a rectal exam. You will be given a collection
kit to take home as a part of the colorectal screening.
Instructions will be provided at the screening. It will be your
responsibility to return the kit to the CentraState Outpatient
Lab within one week after the screening.
Ongoing Screenings
LUNG SCREENINGS
CentraState's screening program is open to former and
current smokers who are age 55 and older and meet
certain criteria, including having smoked for 30 pack years
or more (one pack a day for 30 years, two packs a day
for 15 years, etc.) who are currently still smoking or have
quit within the past 15 years, with no symptoms of lung
cancer or known pulmonary nodules. Patients need a
prescription from their doctor.

MOLESAFE SKIN SCREENINGS
The Skin Cancer Program at CentraState
offers a highly trained medical team
of dermatologists and surgeons who
specialize in the prevention, diagnosis
and treatment of skin cancer, as well as
the screening service MoleSafe: a skin
documentation system that uses total
body photography.
