A Squeaky Clean Dream Ray enjoys his new walk-in tub. Secera is a young, active, and social lady. One thing that is important to Secera is having her "girl time." Besides talking on the phone, texting, being on Facebook, hanging out at the mall, and swimming, Secera enjoys having sleepovers with her friends and her twin sisterBinaka. Secera likes to keep busy, so if she doesn't have anything planned and it is not a night before a work day, she makes some phone calls and makes arrangements with her guests. Secera likes to keep her life exciting and enjoys when she can plan things in the spur of the moment. Secera does this independently, with the occasional assistance from her staff, if transportation isneeded. Secera and her friends enjoy many things during their slumber parties such as eating junk food, watching movies, listening to music, gossiping, telling jokes, and playing pranks on support sta, just to name a few. When Secera stays over at her sister's, she enjoys playing with Binaka's three cats and catching up with what each other has been up to. As she increases her independence in this area, Secera hopes she will soon be able to have more alone time in the community with her friends as well, or make plans to stay the night at theirhouses. From left to right: Binaka and Secera Secera's Slumbers Anyone who knows Ray can tell you relaxing in the bath each day is very important to him. Ray was struggling with getting in and out of his former bathtub, and his team was fearful of injury. To ensure his safety, a bathtub lift was purchased for Ray. Shortly after the lift was purchased, Ray received word that a walk-in tub would soon be installed in his bathroom. The moment Ray found out a walk-in tub was being installed, his face lit up with joy. This is something that Ray, his team, and many other people involved in Ray's life had advocated for over many years. Installation of the new walk-in tub started soon after. Ray watched progress of the work taking place in the bathroom each day, from demolition to the nal product. He interacted with the construction workers when they were at his home and would even joke around with them. Ray would often point and tell them where to put things. He would sit on the couch and just watch with a smile on his face the entire time. Ray truly was happy and thankful; a dream has come true! Ray can now get in and out of the walk-in tub mostly on his own which has led to more privacy for him. Ray enjoys the jets and relaxing—often for over an hour—in his new tub each night. When asked if he likes the tub, Ray smiles warmly and nods his head yes. Ray also proudly shows o his new tub to visitors of hishome. Ray is so thankful for the new walk-in tub. He truly appreciates all the eorts of everyone involved to make this dream a reality! CHI FRIENDSHIP /// www.chifriendship.com 4
