Health Care
from the Heart
In May, we celebrate National Hospital Week and Nurses' Day,
honoring the men and women of Huron Regional Medical Center who
are at the heart of the care we provide.
Our people make everything we do for our community possible. Sure, a hospital has to have equipment and
buildings, but care without people would be impossible. Our employees bring their best to HRMC, serving from
the heart and giving of themselves.
We asked three questions to give the community members we serve a chance to hear from employees directly
about what motivates and moves them. Here's what some of our 300-plus employees had to say.
What is at the heart of why you come
to work every day?
I come to work each day because, even if I do not provide direct care services, I
know that I am still helping people. Each day that I come to work, I feel like I learn
something new and I am appreciated for the things that I accomplish.

employer. I believe in HRMC
and that we make positive
contributions in our community.

I have always valued
being a "behind-the-scene"
part of patient care, fixing
things that are necessary in
providing that care.
