S M A L L B U S I N E S S S P O T L I G H T With nearly 30 years working in the pizza industry, Kurt Bothwell might just have pizza sauce running through his veins. Kurt began his work with Little Caesars Pizza in Atlanta in the late 1980s, then brought his franchise experience to Huntsville when he and his wife decided to move closer to family in 2004. The next year, he officially began operations in North Alabama as Huntsville Caesars Inc. Today Huntsville Caesars operates five Little Caesars locations in the local area and has 90–100 employees at any given time. Through all the growth and daily activities, Kurt says Redstone Federal Credit Union has been an invaluable resource for him, his business and his employees. Huntsville Caesars has benefited from the many options offered by Redstone's Business Solutions team, including short- and long- term loans and lines of credit for daily operations. "Redstone has financed four of Huntsville Caesars' five locations and has always made the growth process efficient and easy,' ' Kurt said. Kurt decided to bring his business accounts to RFCU as he Huntsville Caesars had always enjoyed the great service and low fees on his personal RFCU accounts. He estimates his business has saved thousands in fees over using a typical large national bank. In fact, Huntsville Caesars is one of Redstone's longest, continuous commercial business relationships. Kurt often recommends RFCU to his young employees. "Redstone has been there for many of our employees, providing auto loans, personal loans and just solid information on how they can build credit," said Kurt. So, after decades in the pizza business, what is Kurt's favorite pizza combination? Just like a parent trying to pick his favorite, he couldn't name just one but says there probably isn't a pizza he hasn't eaten, nor one he wouldn't try again. redfcu.org | 3
