Making sure your child eats a healthy diet and gets enough physical activity each day can help prevent the onset of coronary artery disease. Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is the new sponsor of the American Heart Association (AHA) Tampa Bay Life is Why campaign. The AHA and TGH want people to live longer, healthier lives. In an effort to reach this goal, we are opening doors for individuals to express WHY they want to experience more of life's precious moments. We're starting conversations around healthy living, and we're distributing educational resources that will help people take steps toward ideal heart health. Through activities, events and social media engagement, our hope is to increase the quality of life for our community members. Heart disease is the No. 1 cause of death for American men and women.
