Join the CHISt.Anthony Hospital Foundation at the Pendleton Convention Center Dec. 2–3 for the 25th annual Festival of Trees. The annual Festival of Trees is a memory-lled tradition for many Pendleton families that focuses on life's most important gifts: family and loved ones. Those who attend this year's "Building a New Tomorrow"-themed event are sure to make more magnicent memories while also supporting families in our community who are in high-stress domestic situations. The celebration begins Friday at 6 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres, beverages, music, a silent auction, and a display of beautifully decorated trees, followed by our annual live tree auction at 7 p.m. Be sure to return to the convention center on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to participate in our Family Fun Day's activities, including a special visit with Santa Claus, and enjoy the day's entertainment—all free of charge, thanks to a generous donation from Wildhorse Resort & Casino. HOLIDAY HELPING HANDS Proceeds from the 2016 Festival of Trees will benet the Pioneer Relief Nursery (PRN), a Pendleton nonprot organization whose mission is to keep families together and prevent child abuse and neglect through family outreach education. "Festival of Trees is a community grassroots event that has helped us continue the work we do in the Pendleton community," says Barbara Ceniga, EdD, Executive Director of the PRN. "The proceeds from last year and this year continue to promote our remodeling eorts at our new location in addition to enhancing our nursery. We serve about 100 families each year, providing clothes, personal care items, parenting classes, and regular respite to parents. These funds make such a dierence in these families' and children's lives, and we are so grateful for the community'ssupport." Tickets to the Festival of Trees cost $30 per person.
