August 15th marked the 19th Annual CHI Friendship Golf Tournament
held at Maple River Golf Club. More than 90 golfers took part in this annual
fundraisingevent!
"We were very excited at the great turnout!" said Je Pederson,
President of CHI Friendship. "We have had several teams who
have participated in this event each of the 19 years, which
isoutstanding."
Each year, CHI Friendship holds this event to raise funds to
support the people we serve. All proceeds collected are used
to satisfy unmet needs that people supported can't aord
and/or are not covered through state reimbursement. Over
the years, CHIFriendship has raised more than $150,000
from this important event. Items purchased include
clothing, furniture, medical devices and equipment,
rent assistance, bedding, and appliances, among
manyothers.
CHI Friendship thanks all those who golfed,
provided hole sponsorships, and gave door prizes.
