The Kentucky Derby-themed party will be held on Saturday, March 4, at the Huron Event Center. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The silent auction portion of the festivities will feature items available for a range of prices. Funds will support the work of the HRMC Foundation. "Ladies, start looking for big hats, and guys, start putting together your three-piece suits," says Paul Rann, executive director of the HRMC Foundation. Save the Date for the Derby On Saturday, September 10, more than 100 golfers attended Huron Regional Medical Center's 17th Annual Humanitarian Golf Tournament to support the HRMC Foundation. The event – a four-person, 18-hole scramble – was held at the Broadland Creek National Golf Course and raised more than $30,000. "Who doesn't love to support a great cause while golfing and enjoying a fall afternoon?" says Paul Rann, HRMC Foundation executive director. "We pride ourselves on having fun while also doing important work for our community." The HRMC Foundation used funds from last year's event to support scholarships and other projects, such as a hospice care cart to help make the end-of-life experience as comfortable as possible for patients and families.
