At Our Lady of Peace, part of KentuckyOne Health, a permanent display called the DAISY Wall was recently unveiled and honors recipients of the award. This daily reminder of the high quality of care our nurses provide was made possible by support from the Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's Foundation. "The Foundation wanted to honor the unsung heroes who go above and beyond to provide extraordinary care," said Leslie Buddeke Smart, CFRE, division vice president of development for KentuckyOne Health. "The DAISY Wall is a way to provide permanent recognition. When you are dealing with health issues, having compassionate nurses at your side is invaluable." The DAISY Awards are presented annually at the DAISY Nursing Awards Banquet in Louisville. At this year's event, the Foundation was also pleased to unveil the DAISY Wall, which bears the names of local award recipients from 2013 to 2016.
