Consult your doctor before undertaking any form of medical treatment or adopting any exercise program or dietary guidelines. This year we will once again be upstairs but with a few changes: we are bringing back the hors d'oeuvre buffet (just as filling as a meal!), ticket prices will decrease to $25 per person, and we will have local talent for our gala entertainment—the Valley City High School Show Choir and the Valley City Hi-Lites Dance Team! We're excited to help support these talented local groups, and they are both certain to put everyone in the Christmas spirit with their performances. This new format is sure to be a more relaxed and enjoyable evening for all—families are welcome! We will open the doors at 6 p.m. with a silent auction, quilt raffle, mystery duffle raffle, and then hold the live auction and paddle raffle before we start the evening entertainment. Through the support of individuals and area businesses, CHI Mercy Health Foundation raised more than $17,000 during last year's event. These funds allowed us to purchase a new pulmonary function machine, which was installed this summer! This year's Festival of Trees will raise funds to purchase updated CR reader software used to send our X-ray images electronically to an offsite radiologist for diagnosis and then back to our physicians. The hospital performs more than 2,200 X-rays per year— so this software upgrade is vital! The new software will cost $20,000. Will you join us in raising these funds? For more information on this year's Festival of Trees Gala, please contact Stephanie Mayfield, Foundation/ Mission Director, at 701-845-6557 or via e-mail to stephaniemayfield@catholichealth.net. 22nd Annual Festival of Trees Gala The CHI Mercy Health Foundation cordially invites you to attend the 22nd Annual Festival of Trees Gala to be held on Saturday, November 25, at the Valley City Eagles Club.
