Patients at Northwestern Medicine now have an easier way to manage their health information.
Introducing MyChart
YOUR HEALTH INFORMATION is exactly that—yours. As
such, it's important for you to be able to access it at any
time, from anywhere. That's why the entire Northwestern
Medicine health system offers a secure, online and mobile
patient portal called MyChart.
ALL IN ONE
MyChart is a secure portal to connect patients to their
medical records in the Northwestern Medicine health
system. Within this portal, patients have the flexibility
and freedom to manage their care, day or night. They
can access medical history; review test results; schedule,
confirm or request appointments; request medication
refills; update health history; view as well as pay bills; and
send electronic messages to some of their doctors.
"Patients can access this information from their
appointments across the entire health system," says
Cynthia Opie, MyChart Marketing Manager. "For
example, patients can view their medical records from
visits with physicians at Northwestern Medicine
Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, test results from
Northwestern Memorial downtown, and laboratory
results from Northwestern Medicine labs anywhere in
the system."
"Northwestern Medicine is always looking for
ways to put patients first," Opie says. "Offering this
tool is another way to enhance our patients-first
mission. Patients can experience an easier, safe and
more convenient way to manage their healthcare
information."
Signing up for MyChart is easy. Visit nm.org/MyChart and follow the instructions.
