OPEN HOUSE
To celebrate Unity Health's 50th
anniversary year, 2017 got off to a great
start with an Open House held Jan. 8
to commemorate the exact weekend
50 years ago, when the original hospital
doors opened to the community. The
theme of Unity Health's anniversary
year has been "It Takes Everyone," and
honored guests each spoke of their part
in the hospital's history and their role
in its development. Visitors were able
to enjoy refreshments and giveaways
and view a wall of history that wraps
throughout the dining area of the
Unity Health — White County Medical
Center campus. Videos of the hospital's
history play within the wall display for
viewers to learn of its past and present.
A series of special events marked Unity Health's 50th anniversary year.
Here is the story in photographs.
