The CHI St. Anthony Hospital team dedicates every day to caring for our friends, families, and neighbors. Our annual service awards banquet gives us an opportunity to honor our rubies, emeralds, and diamonds—employees who have spent at least five years serving our community. More than 100 years ago, the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia began caring for people who needed help throughout eastern Oregon. From those humble beginnings came CHI St. Anthony Hospital. The Sisters' mission is reflected in everything we do and in the quality care delivered by our employees, who want to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible when you walk through our doors. AN OPPORTUNITY TO SAY 'THANKS!' On March 9, we gathered at Wildhorse Resort & Casino for our 2018 annual service awards banquet. The evening included dining, door prizes, fellowship, and an awards ceremony, during which CHI St. Anthony Hospital President and CEO Harold Geller presented ruby, emerald, and diamond pins to 42 employees and one volunteer. Our 2018 honorees have a combined 520 years of experience caring for the community. Among those dedicated to the cause of local care are these eight employees and one volunteer, who celebrated tenures ranging from 25 to 35 years: Tammy Graham, Operating Room, 25 years Marguerite Gutierrez, Preop and Post-anesthesia Care Unit, 25 years Ann Soft, Volunteer, 25 years Sharon Berlie, Manager of Acute Care Services, 30 years Sally Bishop, Medical Surgical, 30 years Brenda Jones, Obstetrics, 30 years Cheryl Pearce, Director, Physician Services, 30 years Jeanne Reeve, Operating Room, 30 years Ted Biddle, Emergency Services, 35 years Every milestone our employees reach enhances our combined expertise, allowing us to give you higher quality care.
