28 28 | W E ST N O R T H C E N T R A L Brian's passion for the outdoors is a family legacy first introduced to him at a young age by his dad and grandfather who taught him the skills to start hunting, fishing and trapping. Growing up in the Midwest, you could find Brian in the great outdoors along the hills, creeks and lakes near his home in Omaha and the family farm in Ponca, NE, any chance he could get. One of his favorite memories as a kid is going to the cattle auctions with his grandpa. Brian's 20 year career in the USCG as a helicopter rescue swimmer took him many places across the United States, allowing him the opportunity to meet people from a diversity of backgrounds and pursue his love for the outdoors from the mountains of Alaska to the hill country of Texas. Brian's dedication to serve our country earned him two distinguished flying crosses for his heroism and valor during rescue missions in both Alaska and Texas. While Brian was stationed on the Gulf of Mexico in South Texas he began to pursue his passion for land sales. Owning farms and hunting the land in each place he has lived gives Brian an edge to truly understand the needs and desires of landowners from all geographical regions. When Brian retired from the USCG, his love for the Midwest moved him and his family to southern Missouri to expand a non-profit youth hunting and fishing organization originated in Texas called Cross Trail Outfitters. He worked as a state director in which he spearheaded the development of units led by individual outfitters and volunteers throughout the state with the mission to guide the next generation to the Christ through the outdoors. With an unwaivering desire to connect people to their dreams of land ownership, Brian resumed his real estate career from Texas by accepting the position as a land specialist in Missouri with Whitetail Properties in 2012. Since that time, he has been named as the top agent in the state for 7 consecutive years. He is recognized for his knowledge of land and ability to correctly manage and market each property. His approach is to be responsive, reliable and put the client's notion first. Brian's wife, Jill, and their two children, Brock and Brianna share the same passion for the outdoors. They enjoy hunting and fishing together as a family. Their home is on their ranch in southwest Missouri. When he isn't working, you might find Brian riding horses with Jill, fishing on Table Rock Lake with Brock or watching Brianna compete in college track and field. BRIAN W.
