INTRODUCING FETAL AND PEDIATRIC
CARDIOLOGY AT OUR OCEANSIDE CAMPUS
Mount Sinai South Nassau's pediatric cardiology team has earned IAC accreditation for
Pediatric Transthoracic and Fetal echocardiography. We also offer a preventive clinic to
our patients which focuses on pediatric hyperlipidemia and hypertension, and the team
collaborates with our colleagues at Mount Sinai Heart to create a personalized treatment
plan for our patients so that they can lead a happy, healthy life. The pediatric team also
works closely with our adult congenital heart program so that patients' cardiology care
transitions seamlessly with age.
We offer at-risk patients testing or referrals for the following exams:
• Fetal echocardiography
• Fetal MRI
• Genetic testing
• Maternal hyperoxygenation testing
