In 2007, my four partners and I started Whitetail Properties Real Estate with little more than a deep passion for land, a desire to better serve buyers and sellers and a dream. Our funds were limited, so we focused our financial resources on selling hunting land because that's what we knew best. We took that niche across the country to heights no independent land exclusive selling company had ever gone! Our "secret sauce" is the same today as it was then; to provide our clients with the best land buying or selling experience imaginable. However, along the way, we realized there were still millions of people we wouldn't have an opportunity to serve with our unique passion and experience if we didn't expand our services. Today, more of our agents are certified Accredited Land Consultants (ALC) by the Realtors Land Institute than any other real estate company in the country. This accreditation means they specialize in all land types, including farms, ranches, orchards, timberland, waterfront, vineyards and development land. Since our early days, we wanted to be in the auction business. However, we didn't want to leap into this business without a comprehensive understanding and reason to believe we could do it better. So, we learned all we could learn about the auction business to serve our clients with the same level of excellence they've grown to expect from Whitetail Properties. Years later, with over 300 agents covering 38 states, our auction clients now enjoy big crowds with competitive bidding at our land auctions. Our local land specialists assure the most qualified buyers from the area are in attendance. At the same time, our marketing arm reaches coast to coast informing thousands of buyers of every opportunity we bring to auction. The most significant contributor to a successful auction is multiple bidders. The more people we reach through our local, state, and national advertising, the more people will attend the auction. Too many people go into business to serve themselves, focusing only on the sales numbers. My partners and I went into this business to focus on serving our clients with the highest level of integrity, accountability, ethics, and care. Our focus is on providing them with the best selling solution for their property. And funny enough, as a result, we find ourselves not having to worry about the sales numbers.
