The Upstate Cancer Center is proud to be among the elite cancer care providers in the nation to earn
accreditation from the Commission on Cancer, a quality program of the American College of Surgeons.
For 17 consecutive years, Upstate is the only provider in the Syracuse region to achieve this distinction which
requires 34 quality standards and outstanding comprehensive care.
Upstate also has been continuously accredited by the NAPBC for our breast cancer program and by the
American College of Radiology for our radiation oncology services.
These longstanding recognitions underscore our multidisciplinary approach — highly skilled staff,
