Ingenious design carried out by green construction technique is undeniably BAB's sweet spot. The team is committed to creating greater awareness around green building but acknowledges that clients' needs and wants are diverse and is thus eager to meet the client where they are. Employing the company's three-step process, expectations are set clearly from the beginning of any building project, minimizing costly future surprises. A "Needs and Options Review" is conducted first, during which conceptual design sketches are reviewed, scope of construction discussed, along with zoning and building code hurdles, and a budget and schedule charted. This short but incredibly important exercise helps clients understand the big picture and sets realistic expectations of what is to come, minimizing surprises during design and construction. In the second phase of architectural design, a rigorous creative process is employed to study several schematic options until an optimal balance of aesthetic, function and performance is reached. By the end of the design phase the client has experienced their dream project in virtual reality, and a fixed-price construction agreement is executed. Last, the third phase PHOTOGRAPHY: DAMIANOS PHOTOGRAPHY The original side entrance archway was meticulously restored. The entrance foyer was opened up to create a dramatic two-story space.
