Longmont United Hospital is pleased to
announce that Julia Cuervo, MD, has joined
the internal medicine department of Milestone
Medical Group in Longmont.
Dr. Cuervo, a board-certified internal
medicine physician, attended medical school at
the University of Texas Health Science Center
in San Antonio. She completed her internal
medicine residency at Banner Good Samaritan
Medical Center and Carl T. Hayden Veterans
Affairs Medical Center Internal Medicine
Program in Phoenix, Arizona. She is
board certified by the American Board
of Internal Medicine.
A practicing physician since 2003,
Dr. Cuervo enjoys providing adults with all aspects
of patient-centered care, including preventive,
diagnostic, and therapeutic medicine. During
her career, she has received numerous awards,
including a Meritorious Unit Award; National
Defense Service Medal; Global War on Terrorism
Service Medal; and the U.S. Air Force Training
Ribbon. She speaks English and Spanish.
During her free time, Dr. Cuervo enjoys
spending time with her husband and two children.
