3 www.centrastate.com Spring 2015 Jessica Painchaud has a lifetime of memories to make with her son, Keenan, after her maternity experience at CentraState. A first-time pregnancy can be a daunting experience for many women, but when Jessica Painchaud was pregnant with her son, she was confident that she was in good hands. For more than a decade, Jessica, a Robbinsville resident, has been a patient of Rebecca Cipriano, MD, a board-certified OB-GYN with Healthy Woman Obstetrics & Gynecology and on staff at CentraState. "Dr. Cipriano mentally prepared me for each month ahead and sincerely took an interest in my pregnancy," Jessica says. "She is one of the most genuine doctors I have ever met. She was honest and direct with me throughout my entire pregnancy." To help her get an understanding of what to expect during pregnancy and childbirth, Jessica attended one of CentraState's Baby Fairs, a gathering of pregnancy and childbirth-related physicians and vendors, which Jessica describes as "wonderful." (More information about our Spring Baby Fair on April 21 is on the right of this page). Keenan Thomas Painchaud was born on July 26, 2013, measuring 21.5 inches long and weighing 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Jessica describes her birthing experience at CentraState as "top notch," adding, "I met the most amazing maternity nurses. I couldn't have asked for a better staff. I had minor complications and the nurses and doctors were on top of my case as if I were their only patient." According to Dr. Cipriano, Healthy Woman strives to address all the needs of their pregnant patients, big and small. "I remember Jessica's visits fondly because she has a great sense of humor and I really enjoyed our visits," Dr. Cipriano says. "We try to help and advise our patients as if they are our relatives or friends. I'm glad she had a great experience." Upon Jessica and Keenan's departure from the hospital, she was given a package that included diapers and reading materials. "There were phone numbers provided in the event that anything happened; it was very helpful and appreciated," she says. "Overall, it was an amazing experience. I live 45 minutes away and continue to use Healthy Woman, and if am to ever be blessed with another child, I will deliver at CentraState."
