Continued on Page 23 galley kitchen from the living room dramatically opened up the entire space and allowed for light and cross ventilation. The kitchen, which is located over the stream, now features a window seat overlooking the perfectly framed stream and waterfall. Various materials and products were specified to reinforce the design concept and carry the flowing-water theme into the interior. The dining room is adorned with an elegant grass cloth ceiling, and the cabinetry features two dramatically back-lit, reeded, translucent panels. A beautiful, wavy patterned accent tile was selected for the spa. The tile runs vertically down the wall and seamlessly transitions to a horizontal pattern across the tub deck, giving reference to a waterfall. Casework and doors throughout the house are also adorned with door pulls and levers with a soft, f lowing theme.
