PEDIATRIC RESIDENCY PROGRAM All Children's Hospital and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine now have an innovative three-year residency program in pediatric medicine. e first class of 12 graduate medical students began studying and working at ACH in July 2014. Because a full complement of pediatric subspecialists and hospitalists continue to provide daily patient care, our residents benefit from innovative education and research opportunities. Our residents go through a unique Leadership Executive Academic Development curriculum each fall, allowing them to learn leadership, business and scholarship skills from national and international thought leaders through our partnership with Johns Hopkins. e Designing Clinical Research program gives our residents a focused opportunity to develop their clinical research skills. ey receive immersive time with faculty and experts with the goal of submitting a grant and/or original manuscript stemming directly from their work in the program. PEDIATRIC FELLOWSHIPS We continue to develop pediatric clinical and research fellowship programs to join our new training programs in pediatric surgery and surgery research. Additional fellowships will be introduced over the next few years as our academic infrastructure grows with the new residency program.
