A Message from the
LEADERSHIP
There's a new face of cancer care at White Plains
Hospital. You see it in the size of our Cancer Center,
which has doubled to 70,000 feet. You see it in our
cancer care specialists, who have a greater breadth of
anticancer tools than ever before to treat our patients—
including novel targeted therapies that zero in on the
molecular drivers of cancer growth, minimally invasive
robotic surgical procedures, and incredibly precise
radiation therapy.
You see it in our colleagues at the Montefiore Einstein
Center for Cancer Care, with whom we have partnered to
offer the most technologically sophisticated treatments
and research. You see it in our nurses, whose passion
and professionalism translate to exceptional patient
care. You see it in the community, where members
of the public are benefiting from free screenings and
educational lectures, and physicians are expanding their
knowledge through programs designed just for them.
Most importantly, you see progress in the faces of our
patients, who come to White Plains Hospital so they can
receive cancer care based on the latest medical advances
in a hospital closer to where they live and work. Faces
that look calm when they receive holistic treatments to
ease the cancer experience. Faces that look hopeful when
their doctors treat them with a promising investigational
therapy being assessed in a clinical trial. And the faces of
their caregivers, knowing that, at White Plains Hospital,
we want to know how they're doing, too.
This is a transformational time at White Plains Hospital,
with new leadership, new partnerships, new facilities and
new possibilities. In this report, you can read about the
