1996—FIRST PEDIATRIC TRANSPORT AMBULANCE PURCHASED Since the purchase of the rst pediatric transport ambulance—paid for by the generous donations of our community—Children's Hospital, Navicent Health has provided over 7,000 transports for 59 counties in south Georgia. e service opens access to pediatric critical care for those who may not have it in their communities. 2003—CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL MOVES Aer Navicent Health purchased and renovated the former Middle Georgia Hospital, Children's Hospital, Navicent Health moved to its own building. 1996 1997 1997—OPENING OF CRESCENT HOUSE Part of the Children's Advocacy Centers of Georgia, the Crescent House oers a team of highly trained professionals, including nurse practitioners, forensic pediatricians, forensic interviewers and child life specialists who advocate for victims of child abuse. e team's focus is on providing sensitive, compassionate care to children of the community.
