What's the easiest way to describe what MESH01 does? MESH01 gives companies access to a virtual team of thousands of product testers from all around the world whose feedback can be digitally catalogued and converted into useable data via the web-based MESH01 Platform in as little as 48 hours. Brands are able to capitalize on these insights in real time and make on-the- spot material and design adjustments to cater to customer preferences – often during the pre-market R&D phase when changes are far less expensive to incorporate. Our job is to help our clients ensure that their customers' fi rst impressions are positive. How do you gather and analyze product test data? When members of the 25,000-person MESH01 Community have been selected to participate in a product test, we deliver to them sketches, ideas and/or prototype products along with specifi c instructions for the test. The testers then log onto the secure MESH01 Platform to complete surveys, upload images and videos, tag performance zones and more. Everything they report is automatically converted to data according to the customized architecture developed for that test. We are very proud of the MESH01 Platform. It's purpose-built and intuitive – powerful enough to accommodate tests of any size and for just about any material or product. What types of things do you test for? Some tests are very simple and are designed to assess only one or two aspects of an idea or a physical product – such as fabric, fi t, size, aesthetics, etc. Other tests are far more complex, with multiple features being evaluated at once. Brands may choose to use any number of testers from our expansive community, from one to thousands. Since tests are customizable, we are equipped to meet our clients' goals, whatever the scope of the effort. How and when do brands typically use the data your tests provide? MESH01 has purpose-built offerings to generate the right type of actionable mfeedback at any point of the product development lifecycle. Typically, clients call on MESH01 for help while products are still in the design/ development phase, including when they're nothing more than an exciting new concept. That way, based mon targeted customer feedback, improvements can be made before market launch when they're easier and less costly to address. On the other end of the product development cycle, MESH01 can help identify product opportunities against plateaued styles, performance concerns and/or return rate issues. What's the value of testing prototypes? Dealing with potential issues before products have been released to the public can save brands signifi cant time and money. Incorporating user insights into materials and products while the R&D process is still active allows companies to make real-time pre-launch adjustments rather than fi nding themselves in the unfortunate position of having to fi x problems after they've been discovered by disgruntled users. Post-market product concerns are expensive enough; damage to brand reputation can be catastrophic. Who are your testers? Our vast community of testers represent a vari- ety of interests, ages and geographic markets. All are identifi ed within our database according to the types of products they are best qualifi ed to evaluate, so only those in our clients' targeted audience segments are chosen for tests. Do you also collect written product reviews from testers? Absolutely, and we all know how favorable a "shareable" product review is these days. Through the MESH01 Dashboard, our clients have access to all comments submitted by testers during the testing process. They can then choose any or all of these genuine user impressions to share via social media, where they have the power to reach a wide audience more quickly and often more affordably than traditional advertising. Brian Bednarek believes in the incomparable power of information.
