Dear Mr. Gribbin, I cannot graduate from cardiac rehabilitation without acknowledging how excellent the department is run. I made the decision to come to CentraState for rehabilitation, and after attending cardiac rehabilitation for a short time, I knew that I had made the best choice. Betty, Mary Jane, Michele and all the nurses made me feel so welcomed and cared for. Also, registered dietician Caryn Alter made it so easy to learn what we should and should not eat to maintain a healthy heart. The information I received is so valuable and I have been able to share with my entire family to promote healthy eating. One day while in rehab I had an episode of atrial flutter. The nurses were detailed and caring with how they handled the episode. They immediately made an appointment for me with my cardiologist, who changed my medication, and I immediately could breathe better. I had been experiencing difficulty breathing for four months since my valve surgery, and it was the first time I was able to breathe perfectly. I have a deep appreciation for the professionalism, excellence and caring of all the staff in cardiac rehabilitation. I'm recommending everyone I know to the best place to go, which is CentraState cardiac rehabilitation. Sincerely, Jean Fennessy Old Bridge John T.
