Biggest Losers Join Forces with CentraState were in denial. They knew they were severely overweight, but they put on a brave front to cover up the pain and frustration that plagued them for most of their lives. Jay took pride in the fact that he was "functionally fat," while Jen amped up her bubbly personality. The truth got buried deeper and deeper with every emotionally driven bite of cookies or macaroni and cheese. B "Being on 'The Biggest Loser' helped us face the truth about how our weight was affecting our lives," says Jay. "With the help of Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper, the country's most amazing trainers and motivational experts, we got the support, encouragement, and kick in the rear we needed to peel back the layers and face the truth." Jay discovered he wasn't as healthy as he thought. In fact, his health was at high risk. He almost didn't make it on the show after doctors discovered a potentially fatal heart arrhythmia and severe sleep apnea. After an intense one-on-one training session with Jillian, Jen had an epiphany that she was worrying about everyone else, especially her dad, and needed to focus solely on her own journey and ultimate transformation. Once they hit those turning points, nothing could stop them. Save the Dates!
