New Provider Offers Urology Care in Pendleton The Gift of Home Giving patients and their loved ones the dignity and support to face the end of a life on their own terms in their own homes is a powerful gift. The CHI St. Anthony Hospital Hospice and Home Health program provides families with 24-hour access to a registered nurse, aid with daily living activities, spiritual and medical care, and the medical equipment necessary to keep people at home with family and friends while receiving hospice care. "By including individuals and their loved ones in the caregiving team, we improve patient comfort and help bring families peace," says Patricia Montgomery, RN, Director of Home Health, Hospice, and Discharge Planning at CHI St. Anthony Hospital. "We encourage patients and families to call us if they have any questions. We're here to help." To learn more about our Hospice and Home Health services, call 541-276-4100. With the addition of urologist Aimee Rogers, MD, CHI St. Anthony Hospital made specialized urology care available in the convenience of our community hospital. Dr. Rogers practiced medicine for several years in Richmond, Indiana, before deciding it was time to move back to the West Coast. "I was born in California and really missed the area," Dr. Rogers says. "I felt that Oregon would be an excellent place to live and practice medicine. CHI St. Anthony Hospital was the perfect fit for me." Dr. Rogers is excited about helping her new friends and neighbors get well and stay well. "I plan on being here for the long haul," Dr. Rogers says. "My focus now is on creating lasting relationships with my patients and fellow team members." When Dr. Rogers isn't caring for her patients, you'll find her playing with her six dogs or entering her four show llamas into competitions across the nation.
