This certificate program is meant for students who want to work in the database industry. Module 1 will teach database design fundamentals to include logical
and physical data modeling, entity relationship diagrams, normalization and de-normalization techniques, and using data definition language. Module 2 will
introduce students to relational database management and developing databases on SQL Server software and querying and modifying data, indexing and
optimization of data. Module 3 will cover database administration and security to include techniques and tools used to administer, maintain and secure a
database management system, managing system configuration and user/group access privileges, database optimization, backup and recovery and data
control language. A deferred payment plan is available.
