vah on Saturday, Dec.
12, at the Detroit
Historical Museum.
She is the loving
daughter of Susie and
Brian Abrams and sis-
ter of Allie. Joining in
her celebration will be her proud grand-
parents Marilynn and Arnold Levin, and
Helen and Ron Abrams. Emily is the
great-grandchild of Martha Boraks and
Jules Abrams.
Emily is a student at Clifford Smart
Middle School in Commerce Township.
As one of her mitzvah projects, she
designed, built and decorated a travel
ark for a Torah, which she donated to
Temple Israel for use in the community.

Saturday, Dec. 12. He
will be joined in celebration by his sister
Emily and proud grandparents Dr. John
and Joan Simon, and Ivajean and Milton
Erlich.
Charlie attends Berkshire Middle
School in Beverly Hills. As part of his
mitzvah project, he harvested organic
vegetables and distributed them to needy
people through Temple Israel's Food
Pantry program.

Bloomfield on Friday,
Dec. 11. He is the lov-
ing son of Tara Ladd
and Bradley
Gladstone. Sharing in his celebration will
be his proud grandparents Janet
Gladstone, Terry Gladstone, Jeannette
Cody, and Marsha and Dennis Ladd.
Brandon attends Walnut Creek Middle
School in Walled Lake. As part of his
mitzvah project, he organized the sale of
bracelets to raise funds for and aware-
ness of autism.

Southfield. She will be
joined in celebration by her brothers
Ryan and Jonah and proud grandparents
Hazel and Len Nakisher, and Rochelle
and Mickey Kole.
Rachel attends Norup International
Middle School in Oak Park. For her
mitzvah project, she organized a back-
pack drive, which included fundrais-
ing and collecting school supplies for
middle-school students through Matrix
Human Services in Detroit.

in West Bloomfield on
Saturday, Dec. 12.
Avery is the loving brother of Jonah,
Abby and Alex. Joining in his celebration
will be his proud grandparents Rochelle
and Dr. Jerald Gach, and Sema Lazar and
great-grandmother Nettie Stein. Avery is
also the grandchild of the late Alton
Lazar and great-grandchild of the late
Saul Stein, the late Evelyn and the late
Paul Gach, and the late Lillian Benkoff.
Avery attends Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. As part of his mitzvah project, he
helped at the monthly birthday parties,
Senior Dream Cruise and with Wii bowl-
ing at the Fleischman Residence. He
found spending time with the residents
of Fleischman to be very rewarding.
