So far this year, we've encouraged you to draw your fi nancial blueprint, lay a solid foundation and frame your potential. Now, as fall approaches, it's time to build your next story. At American Airlines Federal Credit Union, we recognize that it's diffi cult to envision your future without knowing how you're going to pay for it. That's why we're here to help. One of our best tools to create a solid, long-term savings plan is our share certifi cates. Even if you don't have a lot of extra cash, our Dream Plan Share Certifi cates can help you get a handle on your dreams without having to invest a large amount of money at one time. By starting small, with as little as a $25 monthly investment, you can build those savings over time and reach your goal even sooner than you think. If you have a bit more to set aside but are nervous about committing to a three- or fi ve-year certifi cate, you might consider a Share Certifi cate Ladder. It gives you peace of mind knowing a portion of the ladder matures in just one year but you get the benefi t of longer term certifi cate rates. Each year, as a portion of the ladder matures, you can assess whether it's the time to start the next chapter in the story or if continued investment is the way to go. To fi nd out more about this quarter's offers, see our ad on the inside front cover, and to learn more about the Credit Union's variety of savings options, be sure and check out the story on Page 8. As we get ever closer to the season of giving, it's worth remembering that as a Credit Union member, you've got benefi ts worth sharing. Why not share the gift of membership with your eligible family members, friends and coworkers? You can even earn a little holiday cash for spreading the word. Find out more in our ad on the following page. You'll also fi nd several pieces in this issue of ™ to help you get started on that next story, including exploring the different types of personal loans available (Page 5), taking advantage of joining a money club (Page 10), appreciating the role of small businesses (Page 12), putting those savings to use on an island adventure (Page 20) and much more.
