He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Dr. Robert Michaels; son, Dr. Neil Talon; grandchildren, Jennifer and Christopher Donofrio, Rory Michaels, Melissa and David Field, Stephanie Talon and Jaclyn Talon; great- grandchildren, Colten Rhys Donofrio and Nina Hazel Field; brother and sister-in-law, Bernard and Reva Talon; loving caregiver, Ruby Stewart; many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Talon was the beloved husband of the late Anne R. Talon; the loving father-in-law of the late Pamela Talon; the dear brother of the late Ruth Fisher. Interment was at Adat Shalom Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel. Warren DR. WILLIAM "BILL" WARREN, former Detroiter of Sarasota, Fla., died peacefully on Sept. 24, 2015, just one day before his 89th birthday. A graduate of Cass Tech High School, he was a skilled draftsman. He married his wife of 67 years, Gerry (nee Feldman) in 1948. In addition to the time they spent boating, they thoroughly enjoyed traveling both stateside and overseas. Bill was a lover of history. He was an avid reader of historical fiction and non-fiction books and treasured taking photographs. He was a skilled model builder. He made doll houses for each of his granddaughters and made model boats with extraordinary preci- sion for his grandsons. For many of years, Dr. Warren was a volunteer dentist at the Sarasota Senior Friendship Center and was an active mem- ber of the Temple Emanu-El Brotherhood in Sarasota. While living in Detroit, he practiced dentistry for more than 40 years. When not seeing patients, he was an avid boater and a member of the Detroit Yacht Club, where he kept his boat. He was a captain in the U.S. Army in the 1950s and served stateside as a dentist while stationed at Fort Knox. He was an active member of his dental fraternity (Alpha Omega). Dr. Warren gradu- ated from the University of Detroit Dental School. "Poppy Bill" will be missed by all of his family members, wonderful friends and patients. He was the father of Renee Warren-Siegel, Mark Warren (Cynthia), Karen Warren- Melaas (Dr. Keith), and Dr. Neil Warren (Jamie). He was the grandfather of Nathan (Troy), Aaron, Emily (Robert), Sarah, Eli (Becca), Deanna, Julie, Jessica, Shelby, Bailey, Joseph and Alison. He was the great-grandfa- ther of Alana and Nolan. The service was at Sarasota National Cemetery, with Rabbi Brenner Glickman of Temple Emmanu-El, Sarasota officiating. ANNE B. WEDES, 94, of West Bloomfield, died Sept. 30, 2015. She is survived by her daughter and son- in-law, Laura and Ron Ostreicher of West Bloomfield; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Jackie Wedes of West Bloomfield, Ken and Sandy Wedes of Huntington Woods; sister-in-law, Blanche Burg of Southfield; brother-in-law, Nathan Schecter; grandchil- dren, David (Susan) Ostreicher, Brian (Yoko) Ostreicher, Sam Wedes, Justin Wedes, Erica Wedes, Emily Wedes; many other loving family members and friends. Mrs. Wedes was the beloved wife of the late Seymour Wedes; the sister of the late Bernice Schecter and the late Leon Burg. Contributions may be made to JARC or to a charity of one's choice. Interment took place at the Nusach Hari Cemetery in Ferndale.
